Embracing ADHD, Creativity, and Self-Awareness

Hey there, night owls and curious souls!
So, it's 12:34 a.m., and in a valiant attempt to go to bed early, here I am writing a blog post. Technically, I'm in bed... with my trusty laptop. Creative juices are flowing, and isn't it just classic that inspiration strikes right before you’re supposed to sleep?
I'm not even sure if anyone's reading these ramblings anymore—I'm just aiming for consistency over perfection. And guess what? I'm 4 for 4—an entire month of blog posts! Not too shabby, Winchester, not too shabby.
Let me spill some tea about myself: I've got wild self-awareness. Therapy? Probably wouldn't help much, considering how self-aware I am. My potential? Oh, it’s there, alright. I've seen what I can achieve when I put my mind to something, and it's pretty impressive. Yet, 98% of the time, it's all wasted.
Executive dysfunction is a sneaky little beast. I've got ADHD and a mild learning disorder, and it’s like knowing the problem doesn’t make it any easier to solve. Plus, I’m fairly certain I've got a spicy case of the 'tism too. My psychologist even said;
"If there's one, there's more likely to be another. These things usually come together." Thanks, doc.
Here's the kicker (not Harrison Butker): if you can't afford medication or professional help, a diagnosis doesn't change much. But if you're not hurting anyone and you find ways to manage your symptoms, then more power to you. Managing ADHD is a struggle, and trust me, I'm still figuring it out.
It's now 12:54 a.m., and I think it's time to wrap this up. Maybe I'll add more before I hit publish, but if not, peace out, homies.
🌷 Signed, MJ
